He\u00a0is regularly asked to speak\u00a0at Muhlenberg College, Cedar Crest College, various Bar Associations throughout the state, and other civic groups. Mal is a significant supporter of the preservation of history and played a large part in the establishment of the Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum.The Maryland State Archives\u00a0stores numerous government records dating back to the 1600’s.
